Step 1: Make the pendant by placing one jade round (A157JD) followed by a gold round (G14203) then the carnelian butterfly (A27CN) then another gold round and another jade round on the headpin (GF5204). Loop the top and connect it to a small length of chain (3905) using a large jump ring (GJ106). Connect the small length of chain to the rest of the chain with the other large jump ring.

Step 2: Counting up 5 links from the pendant, cut the long length of chain. Using an eyepin (GF0241) create a link with the carnelian round (A15CN) and attach one end to the necklace, and the other end to the length of chain that's been cut off.

Step 3: Counting up 5 links from the carnelian round, create a link in the same fashion, only using the new jade butterfly (A27NJ) and attach one end to the necklace and the other to the length of chain that's been cut off.

Step 4: Repeat steps 2 and 3 for desired effect.

Step 5: Repeat steps 2 and 3 on the other side of the necklace.

Step 6: Connect the each half of the magnetic clasp (GF151) using the smaller jump rings (GJ95)
