Price Increase on “T” Prefix Sterling Items 2/27/2008 |

Due to the falling US Dollar we must increase prices on all our sterling silver items
sourced from Turkey. Effective Friday, February 29 all sterling and gold-plated sterling
items with a “T” prefix stock number will increase by 5%. This is only a partial adjustment
in order to allow you to roll out price increases to your customers. On August 1, 2008 we
will then increase prices another 5% on these items to account for the full currency
adjustment we have absorbed up until now. This price adjustment will be made on the base
prices as well as all discount levels and is independent of the sterling surcharge for
metals market rates. We apologize for the inconvenience.

Gold market prices have recently surged past $900 per ounce and show no signs of retreat
in the near future. Since our 2008 metals catalog was priced at $650 gold we must implement
price increases to keep pace with escalating materials costs. Effective 2/2/2008 all
solid gold items will increase 20%. Gold-filled items will be re-priced over the next
few weeks with increases averaging 5-10%. The website will be updated with all new rates
as soon as they go into effect. Further increases may be necessary in the near future

We will be showing in Tucson once again this year. Please stop by our booth at the
Manning House To Bead True Blue show. We are located in Suite 200 which is accessible
from outside the buildings and just around the corner from the café. We will have our
complete line of samples as well as a hospitality suite. We will not be selling goods
over the counter, but will be offering show specials on orders placed at the show.
The Tucson Show will be plagued with freeway construction problems this year. Most of
the I-10 is closed for major restructuring. We highly recommend taking advantage of the
free shuttle services or be sure to keep a detailed map in your car in order to navigate
surface streets. Downtown Tucson is full of one way streets and railroad tracks, so it
can be tricky!

During the past month we have received substantial price increase notices from many
of our factories. We anticipate receiving more increase notices over the next few
months. The entire precious metal manufacturing industry has been hit very hard in
2007 by a combination of the weak US Dollar, high metals prices, high financing
rates and increasing labor costs. The industry has not seen such a negative combination
of cost factors in over 20 years. We will be raising prices in accordance with these
changes as we replace inventory bought at old rates. Please be warned that between
now and the January catalog release there will be an inordinately high number of
price changes. We are also expecting a large Swarovski increase very soon because
of the record low US Dollar against the Euro. Please be aware of this situation
when planning your purchasing and pricing for the 4th quarter. Prices on our website
are rapidly updated and will be more accurate than catalogs and sales sheets.
