  Silver Cost Explosion
Silver prices have been skyrocketing this year. This dramatic increase in materials costs has caused most companies in the industry to implement price hikes or surcharges to cover their expenses. If you are buying silver, it is well worth your time to keep track of market prices on www.kitco.com or another similar site.

Weak Dollar Weak Dollar Affects Prices
The weak US Dollar has an adverse effect on the bridge jewelry market because the vast majority of components used to produce finished items are imported. The weak US Dollar buys 15% less than it did a year ago in overseas markets such as Europe and Asia. That translates into cost increases of 15% or more in one year! For that reason prices on many imported products are starting to rise as distributors, like us, reach the point where they can no longer absorb the cost increases. All imported items are affected, or will be soon, if the dollar does not get stronger very soon. We recommend that you keep an eye on currency markets and price your goods so that you are prepared for cost increases if and when they are passed through by your suppliers.
