New logo You have probably already noticed our new logo design. We believe the new design and color scheme better reflect the corporate identity of Halstead Bead, Inc. The full family name is an important identifier of the company, and has been for over 30 years. Many thanks to Mindi Bear, our graphic designer, for this beautiful new logo. Let us know what you think! New computer system This week we are launching our new, company-wide computer system. The system will allow us to improve our services in many ways. New FAQs This summer we introduced our new Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ) format on the website. The FAQ tab will now take you to an interactive question database where you can search for existing questions and answers, or send us new questions via e-mail. This new format has already proved very successful. We are adding new questions to the FAQ database every week. New Website Features This month you can expect to see two new additions to our website services. First and foremost, our interactive forum is ready to go. Lori will be moderating this forum during business hours. We encourage all of you to use this tool to communicate with each other and with our staff at Halstead Bead. Share ideas, designs and stories; or, ask questions or advice. We are very excited to provide this industry forum to you. We will also be activating a Live Support tool. Live Support will appear as a button on our website. You can click this link any time during our business hours to connect via real time chat with a customer service representative. This is a great online tool when you cannot find an item or you have a question. You can now receive service without having to place a call or leave your computer. Employee News We would like to extend a warm welcome to Winnie, Tracy and Roseanne who recently joined our Operations Team. We also send our best farewell wishes to Jackie and Dustin who left us this summer to move to California. And finally, we would like to offer congratulations and commendations to Teri in Shipping for quitting smoking. She has been cigarette free for six months now! |
