Multi-strand bracelets are beautiful, but utilizing a toggle clasp with them can be a chore. Due to the many strands of beads, sometimes the bar has a hard time going through the loop. This can easily be remedied by adding jump rings to the bar, just be sure the final ring is a closed ring so that the Beadalon does not slip through the paper-thin opening in most open jump rings. Supplies Needed: (1) S32611 Sterling Toggle (3) SJ85 Jump Rings (1) SJSR957 Closed Jump Ring (36) NA39PO 6mm Pink Opal Rounds (12) NA39WO 6mm White Opal Rounds (36) CH96AQ 6mm Cat's Eye Rounds in Aqua (13) CH96W 6mm Cat's Eye Rounds in White (100) S2 2mm Sterling Rounds (8) SCT1 or SB875 Crimp Beads JW191230 Beadalon 19 Strand .012" Stringing Wire Step 1. Begin by linking 3 open jump rings together with a closed jump ring at one end. Attach the tail end of the jump rings to the toggle bar piece. Step 2. Begin stringing the pink strand of beads alternating the Pink Opal Rounds with the 2mm Silver Rounds. Attach each end of the Beadalon to the toggle loop or tail end of the toggle bar using the crimp beads. Click to enlarge Step 3. Continue stringing the rest of the strands using the following: Blue Strand - Alternate 6mm Cat's Eye Rounds in Aqua with 2mm Silver Rounds Blue & White Strand - Repeat the pattern of 6mm Cat's Eye Round in Aqua, 2mm Silver Round, 6mm White Opal Round, 2mm Silver Round Pink & White Strand - Repeat the pattern of 6mm Pink Opal Round, 2mm Silver Round, 6mm Cat's Eye Round in White, 2mm Silver Round As you finish each strand, attach each end of the Beadalon to either the toggle loop or tail end of the toggle bar. After you have completed all the strands, you should find it much easier to loop the toggle clasp together.
