Grant Judging in Progress
We are hard at work judging the many entries we received for our first ever Halstead Bead
Business Development Grant. We are extremely impressed by the quality of the application
packets we have received. Judging has been very difficult because of the competitive field of
candidates. We are currently in our second round of evaluations and will continue to post more
detailed updates on our progress in the Grant section of our website. A winner will be selected
by late July.

Silver poll results
Thank you to all who participated in our Silver Pricing Poll. We very much appreciate your
feedback. Surprisingly, the results were split almost evenly between the two pricing options
we presented. The preference, by a slim margin, was that we re-price our silver line list prices
to be closer to current market and reduce the surcharge accordingly. This option received 55% of
the votes. The other 45% of respondents asked that we continue using the surcharge method.
After careful consideration, we have decided to continue to use the current surcharge method for the
near future. Our apologies to the slight majority who chose the other option. In our opinion, silver
pricing is still too volatile to commit to a new list price base. We are very hopeful that prices
will stabilize by the end of the summer now that the SEC has finalized the silver ETF trading. Prices
have already begun to recede. Once silver stays steady for several weeks in a row, we will indeed
reset our list prices at that level as you elected. Thank you for your patience. Please watch the

Favorites Feature
Online shoppers are already raving about our new favorites feature. Thank you for all the positive
feedback we have received. Shoppers will now notice "Add to Favorites" links in the right column
of the Order Review page in the shopping cart. Click on the links to add specific items to your
personalized favorites list. You can access your favorites any time in the future by logging in
to our shopping cart and clicking on the Display Favorites button on the Customer Menu entry page,
or by click on the Display Favorites button on the View Cart page.
Create your own abbreviated shopping list for easy re-ordering in the future. This function only
works if you have cookies enabled on your system.

instrumental in our website planning, product development and service reviews. We are already

when we have to make corrections. We recently began posting corrections to our printed catalogs
online. You can find listings by catalog page number in the "corrections" link at the bottom of
our main page. We will make every effort to prevent errors, catch them quickly and post edits as
