Website Improvements Based on Your Survey Feedback
We continue to implement website enhancements based on customer feedback and suggestions from our 2006
survey. This quarter we are proud to announce the following updates:
1. Add all items on one page to the cart at the same time!
Instead of clicking "Add to Cart" by every item entry, you can now enter order quantities for all
the items on a page before hitting the "Add to Cart" button just once. Please be aware that if you
go back to the page and do not zero out your previous quantities you will order those amounts again
and duplicate your quantities.
2. Duplication warning feature.
Our software can detect when you duplicate quantities most of the time. Your Review Cart page will
flag suspected duplicates with a red flag icon so you can check the quantities before finalizing
your order. Please check carefully!
3. New favorites icons.
During the checkout process you will notice that an "Add to Favorites" icon appears by all the items
in your order. Click on this icon to add specific products to your personalized favorites folder.
You can access your favorites list any time you login to our website.
4. Email alert when stock arrives.
Finally, we have an alert service to notify you when an out of stock item arrives in our warehouse.
During the checkout process you will notice an envelope icon with the letter "E" by all of the items
in your order that are out of stock. Simply click this icon to automatically sign up for an email
notification when the item is back in stock. This notice will go to the email address you use to log
in to our system. Please monitor your bulk email box and set your spam guard to allow messages from
the halsteadbead.com domain name. Please note that this service does not reserve stock for you or
place a backorder. You will need to order the item separately.
5. Anchored search results.
Now, when you use our search function you will be directed straight to specific items instead of just
the top of the page where they appear.

Many thanks to Swarovski North America for permission to use their DIY projects in our HBI
Happenings quarterly e-newsletter. These projects appear for the first time in this edition
and will also be included in future releases under Swarovski DIY.
