Findings

This section contains solid copper beads and findings. The only exceptions are the lobster claw items that are copper plated base metal. Please be aware that copper commonly reacts with body chemistry to leave a greenish mark on the skin. This is a common ocurrence that is not a sign of infection or illness. The green coloration is not at all harmful.

Most of these items are lacquered to protect copper from patination. However, several items are not lacquered (marked as such) and are likely to develop the distinctive green patina more quickly. Patina is not a defect, it is a natural by-product. If you do not desire patina, you can clean copper goods using standard copper polish.
