3mm Tube Bezel Setting Tool
These bezel setting tubes are easily one of our favorite jewelry tools in the Halstead studio! These are a constant bestseller month after month and are a perfect addition to any jewelry studio which sets calibrated stones into tube bezels. This highly polished jewelry making tool doesn’t leave scratches on the tube bezel, nor does it scratch or chip the calibrated stones, plus it saves a lot of time in the studio for other projects.
Before using the tool be sure that the stone is laying flush in the tube bezel, proper seating is the key to the successful setting of a stone, place the bezel setting tool straight down over the stone, then strike it one or two times lightly to set it. Once you get the hang of it, you’ll be setting multiple stones in the time it took to set just one stone using a bezel roller and burnisher. Speaking of burnishers, the smooth interior of the tube bezel setting tool leaves the rim of the tube bezel in perfect condition, eliminating the need to use a burnisher around the edge afterwards. Literally one to two light strikes with a hammer and you’re done. Save time on production work, too! Line up your production jewelry and go down the row, lightly striking each tube bezel at a time. That’s not all, if you make chain settings use the bezel setting tool with the bezel chain setting block to really speed up the process. Be sure to practice a few times to get the hang of it before setting stones into jewelry!
