Franco chains nested link sometimes become twisted. These kinks can be straightened. Hold the chain on either side of the kink. Then, gently push the chain in towards the kink and pull out again several times until the links straighten out and nest correctly. To prevent kinks, store neck chains flat or hanging and keep footage on spools.
