Oval or round machine links are stretched or “drawn” to elongate the chain links in these types of chain. When you stretch a chain it makes it narrower and changes its overall appearance, too.

Add a crimp endcap, jump rings and a jewelry clasp to make a finished necklace. The inner diameter of the chain link is too small for the traditional placement of jump rings. Even 24 gauge wire will be too large. You will need to finish these chains with crimp endcaps. Note: Bulk chain is priced per inch. All chains are sold in 12 inch minimum quantities unless a 10 foot minimum is noted. We may use segments of 7 inches or longer to fulfill your order if continuous lengths are not available. Spooled lengths are segmented at the factory so we cannot guarantee continuous lengths of any specific measure.
